{ 5.11.2020 | Inherited Emotional Language } w/ MeetingGround

As Asian Americans, how can culture play a role in the way we communicate emotions (to others and ourselves)?

In honor of Asian Pacific American Heritage month, I was invited to host a Community Conversation on Inherited Emotional Language with MeetingGround on Monday, May 11 @ 6PM.

MeetingGround is partnering with POPSHIFT on a week-long set of virtual events centered around the theme of Storytelling & Identity. Participants will come together over their shared experiences as members of the Asian community.

The events are free/suggested donation, and all proceeds will be donated to charity. MeetingGround will donate all of Monday’s donations towards Sakhi for South Asian Women, a domestic violence organization. (The start of my Nonprofit & Asian Mental Health career was with a domestic violence organization, so this is an issue very near and dear to my heart.)

SIGN UP HERE, and check out the other workshops being offered! See you on the 11th, and Happy APA Heritage Month.
